Amarinth Sustainability
These sections feature our aims and attempts at protecting the enviroment.
As of July 2022, we were independently assessed and are ISO 14064 certificated.
Like any responsible company we are committed to consistently auditing, looking for ways to reduce our carbon footprint. Rather than talk about vague goals in the future, we are implementing processes to achieve ambitious but realistic targets. To achieve this we are committed to being annually audited for ISO 14064 carbon reduce certification.
Supplying the non-Oil and Gas Industry with cutting edge efficient pumps, we have honed our designs and expertise within the fossil fuel industry, allowing us to develop cutting edge bespoke pumps which are among the most efficient in the world. This expertise is now being transferred into the increasing demand for pumps in renewable industries, such as hydrogen, carbon capture and SMRs.
Carbon capture is becoming a critical part of global efforts to reach carbon targets and we already supply pumps into this sector.
We are also working in the renewable energy and hydrogen market with increasing focus on green hydrogen production, and now have a dedicated renewable energy sales manager.
Becoming carbon neutral starts with investment in our own consumption, we installed a solar array and have the benefit of a biofuel power station when it’s not sunny to act as a backup.
The future growth of Amarinth will come from emerging renewable energy markets and increased efficiency in our traditional sectors.
